Where to sell sterling flatware?

I have around five pounds of sterling flatware to sell, anyone know the best place to do it? The local shops are offering around 70% spot price. Is that typical for this? There are a few knives in the mix but I didn't count them in the weighing.
Thanks,
Jim

You might try Midwest Refineries - It's a risky time for a lot of local dealers to buy anything like that at full price.
Click on this link to see my ebay listings.
I know a guy that makes rings from the handles IF the designs are fancy and artwork from the other ends...these take a whole fork.
I'll second Midwest Refineries. That's who I have used several times in the past for silverware. Take out the knives - they're too much work to make them worthwhile (e.g steel blades, hollow or lead filled handles, etc.)

Thanks - I'll see what Midwest Refineries offers.

Any Orange Blossom by Alvin?
He who knows he has enough is rich.
Mostly this batch that I stumbled across at our town dump. A few other odds and ends I've come across from goodwills, yard sales and thrift shops but sorry no Orange Blossom.

Thank you. That is amazing you found this at the dump!

Here ye.
typical knife handles have about 1/2oz of silver. Wear gloves, use a hammer, clean them up and send along with the others to Midwest. I think they pay 90% of spot on sterling (net silver).
