Odd Question on US Star Notes

I am new to this forum and very excited to grow with all of you!

I have been collecting all Star Notes I get in change for my entire adult life thus far (20yrs) and they take up so much space. Do people collect these or should I just take them to the bank and deposit them?
-Any insight/advise would be awesome. If you all think I should keep them for 60 more years I can store them and keep adding to the collection just not sure if it is a waste of time.

Thank you all and I am excited to be here :)

Most modern circulated star notes aren’t worth anything above face value, but there are some exceptions. It’s kinda silly, but I do the same thing but with $1 star notes only. I keep them in an old, Lee wallet.

Welcome. Expanding on above, you can research the print runs to determine rarity. You can read about the 2013B star note project, low serial #'s, binaries, radar, ladders, etc. Good luck. Peace Roy
