at what price is it no longer "gutter" metal?

When it gets on the curb?
There have been several spikes throughout modern history but once the hype subsides it always drifts back to where it started. Thats why they call it the gutter metal. Don't forget to sell this time, assuming you can find a buyer. LOL. RGDS!
The whole worlds off its rocker, buy Gold™.
"They" don't call it gutter anything. The only time that blitz will stop calling silver "gutter" is when he can claim to have made a boatload of $$$s from owning it.
Which is unlikely since he thinks that SLV is the same as physical silver and he ignores the risks involved in a button-clicking environment where the HFT boys have every advantage.
I knew it would happen.
Name calling is best left in preschool.
I'm making $$$ on SLV right now. Go gutter. RGDS!

P.S, was recently looking at the gutter (Ag) to more expensive gutter (Pt) ratio and it appears to be at historical lows. Pure speculation play here but have decided to dump some physical gutter for the physical Pt.
PITA, paper is SO much easier but we will see if added the effort pays off. Boat anchors and doorstops are just plain fugly (and practically useless). RGDS!

Silver is much more liquid, and at much tighter spreads & lower premiums.
Both silver and platinum have good potential at this time.

I agree, that if one is trying to create income stream using silver, holding the physical is not as convenient.
But if one views it as a 'strategic' style investment (long term hold, diversification, hedge against dollar, etc...) .... well, just look at the long term graph of silver, say from 1936 on to present. There seems to be little doubt as to the trend. Very impressive; whether that will continue, who knows?
