Finding a gem in the desert 🌵 was an unexpected surprise…
I recently was working in Phoenix, AZ and stumbled across a little coin shop on my way to pick up supplies…. And boy am I glad I stopped in to take a peak…
I was able to find and purchase a beautiful and extremely abnormal monster toner of a Seated Half that I quickly replaced as my new set piece in my Dansco album…. Take a look!
Has anyone else ever found a gem for their collection while on a business trip??? Love to hear and see pics!!

Found many additions to my collection while in PHX for business. Usually at C&C.
Haven’t gotten to travel much with my new job (which is fine) so I haven’t had a business trip addition in a few years.
Congrats on the find!
It's a really colorful 74, the reverse is awesome! However, I couldn't help noticing that 74-S two slots away.
That top pic it really jumped out, nice score
Wow! 😮 🤩
What a great coin. Does the reverse have any color? James
Mighty coin for a good friend. So excited for you!

The reverse is better with a vivid splash of color on an otherwise gray reverse.
Here is the reverse…
That is very nice. Did they let you buy just that one or make you take the entire set?
It is his set in the Dansco.
That is a nice looking piece with some terrific detail.
