Does anyone still have a set in its original holder, and/ or did any of the coins go blue ? The color is about the color of the felt used in the OGP. Like it or not ? Things happen, over time.
Show me some toned eagles.

I flipped all 5 sets the day that I received from the mint. Never even opened the box. RGDS!
Edit to add, if it were me I'd rid her of the nasty. The Weimans works wonders. THKS!
The whole worlds off its rocker, buy Gold™.
Pardon me, I just off gassed. 😲

Pretty toning from here (or something else)? Why just that one? Is the capsule open or cracked?
That type of toning will most like bring some nice money if you slab and sell it……as long as they don’t say it’s AT.
I still have a sealed box of 5 sets. I don't guess there is a reason to not open it.
I had a box of 2 sets I swapped for gold at the time. Heard they were going straight to grading but no clue.
I do have a 2000 ASE money clip I got from the mint/treasury that I kept sealed in the packing and then the blue felt box for like 15+ years, it turned blue, purple, black like that. Need to grab a pic of it and see, definitely had a touch point in the box where it the sun was touching it - looked like a match touch when I first opened it.
Definitely think the felt and cardboard is a toning combo with those that have air getting in the capsules. That money clip was just in the box.
I purchased 3 sets off the BST after being shut out at the mint. One coin was not in the capsule and has similar toning. The drastic toning is on the proof in one set (as seen), and the uncirculated specimen toned the same way in the other box.
the only proof?
Interesting. I have sets that have been in the original packages since I received them years ago.
A very little bronze toning on the peripherals of the W and S uncs, but nothing like the toning you are showing!
.
Just sell it to me and you won’t have to look at it any longer
