Patriots and Red Sox
Hasn't ever changed 💯
1999: Fan of the NFL. No loyalty to a particular team.
Got to a couple Arizona college football games each season. Loved watching football in November without wearing a sherpa jacket. Watched the basket team on TV. Never attended a game. Got to the quarter horse once a year.
Secondary interest in the NHL. NBA, nah.
2024: Spend the extra bucks on 80 year old guys singing rock and roll. Watch some NIL football cause I like the game. Don't really care who wins. Keep an eye on the NFL and MLB but if Married With Children reruns are on, that is the better choice. Don't wager, other than the occasional SB grid. Way fewer ulcers.
Biggest different from then an now is wanting the Chargers to lose for leaving SD instead of rooting for them, and not as much interest in the NHL. MLB is also starting to test me with all the rule changes that has made it a completely different game

I am with Perk. still Sox and Pats. although i still follow the sox, it is in a less intensive way because i lost NESN a couple of years ago. I was also a big Clemens fan back then (and now) and I followed all of his starts very closely.
George Brett, Roger Clemens and Tommy Brady.

lost NESN ?
its the worst network in the history of the world
that being said , without 90 hours of fishing shows per week how are you holding up?
NFL and NBA, then and now.
as the 90's ended I was a HUGE Cowboys and Broncos fan and had been since the mid 1980s. Around 2004 I lost interest with the sport in general and do not follow any NFL team.
