The Newman Portal - host to huge amount of Numismatic material is off line as the Internet Archive (a non-profit library offering millions of free books, movies & audio files, plus billions of saved web pages in the Wayback Machine.) has been attacked and is offline.
Per their last message
"Latest update on the DDOS attack from @brewsterkahle (Oct 11 @ 10:22am PT):
"The data is safe.
Services are offline as we examine and strengthen them. Sorry, but needed. @internetarchive staff is working hard.
Estimated Timeline: days, not weeks. "

Their system had been restored but I noted there are no longer any of the old STACKS auction catalogs available to view ... no sure why

    ""Item not available
The item is not available due to issues with the item's content. "

I’m still seeing that with other books and topics too. Hopefully it’s just a restart issue

Did you find any catalogs for other companies showing?

Checked a couple of other companies and they showed the same message you got. I assumed they were all still out. Some parts of the Internet Archive are still not available according to info they posted yesterday.

Hopefully the Newman Numismatic Portal will not have to re-link each item on the archive and instead they will just appear once they are fully functional again.

Service is returning slowly. You can also check the repository directly (https://archive.org/details/newmannumismatic), this may deliver better results than going through NNP.

We do not anticipate having to relink anything.

Thanks ... many others auction firms were live ... I was thinking it may have been some sort of Stacks permission issue.

I fine the portal a wonderful site for numismatics material.
