Mechanical Error Question

WingsruleWingsrule Posts: 3,010 ✭✭✭✭

I have a PCGS-graded mechanical error. Will PCGS reholder it properly even if I do not have a current membership?

Regards,

Mark

What was the mechanical error. Did they show the wrong grade on the label?

Guessing no. But you can get a local dealer with a membership to submit.

Yes they will. There was a discussion about this here 2 or 3 weeks ago. Just send them a message letting them know the problem before sending it in. What they won't do is reholder a coin in a damaged holder unless you're a member.

    This.

(First post is instructions for contacting PCGS. The next two posts address your specific question, compliments of @MWallace .)

Edited: changed "Hy" to "PCGS_Hy" to emphasize that the info came from a PCGS CS representative.

    Thank you, all.

The label shows the incorrect year.
