40-50 years ago this was what was known as a "Weak D."
7-8 years ago the TPGs changed their standards for what they will call a "Weak D," and this no longer qualifies. However, there are many coins like this out there that were certified by all major TPGs as "Weak Ds."
Since the term "Weak D" now means two different things, I am not using the term "Weak D" in my new book. This is what I am calling a "Worn D." There will be other new terms that will be explained in the book.
