Banks closed Monday for Columbus Day or Indigenous Peoples Day depending on your state.

If you've got a million dollar check to deposit, do it tomorrow.

Useless holiday.

Me thinks the type of holiday is more a state of mind.

It's a federal holiday not a national holiday.

It's the government giving themselves the rite to use tax [OPM] money to pay themselves for doing nothing.
Coin related?
If you win a GC auction, it’s not going out on Monday.
Too bad the banks aren’t forced to drop interest rates on loans, during the times they’re closed, including weekends.
Unless you request Fed ex.
You can pay them electronically 24/7.
I assume you would also then not use your house or car on holidays either?
That assumes it's not a GC holiday

Just like reality.

I don’t owe on my house or car. I know bankers.
I think you know what I'm saying. You don't use credit cards or cash you borrowed on holidays? I assume you don't want to be paid interest on your money on holidays either.
Doubt that Ian misses many Mondays.

That puts @joeykoins out of business until Tuesday. Although I think he changed hobbies. I think he's in his car playing with baseball cards. 🤣 ⚾️ 👍

I have to say the modern mint staff did a better job with the 1992 coins than Charles Barber did with the 1892 coins and I actually think Charles Barber is underrated.
Yes, he mentioned on the cards forum that he's out of the coin race and is liquidating his numismatic material. He's all in on "ripping" boxes of sports cards. His frequent bank runs have been replaced with trips to Walmart and other places where they sell boxes of cards.
When it was coins, his skunk boxes could just be cashed in to keep the cycle going. Not sure what happens to all the cards that come out of a skunk mystery card box. I sense an intervention somewhere down the road.
I had suggested that he change his name to "joeykards".
Thanks for the detailed explanation. Hoping he has as much luck with the cards, as he has with the coins. 👍
