PSA population question.

Question on the PSA pop report. I will use the 76 Brett as an example. There are currently 33 PSA 9's. Is there a way to see when each of the 33 were graded? Is there a way to see how many PSA 9's there were 5 years ago or 10 years ago? Any assistance will be appreciated.

There might be a way by the serial number, but I don't know how. I bet someone on here might be able to. Or better yet -- the guys at gemrate might be some help.
afternoon,
Just a little Devils Advocate here, what would be done with this info. Could it be used by somebody to identify the Copies graded in the last 2 years or so because they are perceived as coming under Higher Grading standards? Have we actually come to this or is this Old News? Or?

For me I would like to know how many are being graded a 9 each year. For the Brett there's currently 33 PSA 9's. If I knew how many there where ten years ago and five years ago it could help determine the amount of PSA 9's we might see in 2030. I was out of the hobby from the late 90's to 2022 as I sold my entire collection when I got married and had a family decades ago.
I'm particularly interested in seeing when/if the next example of a '76T Brett PSA 9 comes up for sale. There have been precious few made available via auction since 2020.
Gobble.
There's one for sale on EBAY right now.
Indeed. That must be the 33rd PSA 9. Just released. Good luck to the bidders.

What's your prediction on the final price? I wonder if 4 sharp corners submitted this card to PSA or if its a consignment.
I only wondered if the release was associated with the Royals being in the playoffs and Brett getting more attention. Now, they're done.
Not speculating on price or origin. I'm fairly certain the bidding will be brisk. Just gonna watch. Thanks for the heads up.

Comics have such a thing via 3rd party sites utilizing CGCs API.
Seems to me with cards that at least some grading company's fear too much data being available instead of something that builds market interest.
FYI the card was submitted to PSA by FSC which is what I figured. The card is not on consignment.
For those of you who have actually seen a 76 Brett in PSA 9 condition how does this example compare?
High bid is currently $4,100. Anyone have a prediction on the final selling price?
$10k….is my estimate.
75 RC Brett PSA-9 POP =327/15659 (2.08%)
76 Brett PSA-9 POP=33/3740 (0.88%)
This copy (960xxxxx) does not appear to be skewed...
This 1976 Brett would replace my RC (recently re-holdered) , which I have consigned to REA in November/December 2024.
I am surprised at how many more 75s have been graded than 76s.
Battle of the Heavyweights.

there is a 1976 opc brett psa 9 listed for $13,000 or offer. pop 3. there are amazingly 2 PSA 10's which seems really weird. i would assume they are sheet cut. With only 15 psa 8's and 3 psa 9's, seems really strange to have 2 psa 10's.
When I was sheet cutting cards a while back I met a couple guys at The National who also did it and they were both Canadian. And sharing stories they revealed there are A LOT of people north of the border cutting cards from sheets. So think you are right on track with how those 2 PSA 10s came to be.
When you see a lot BGS 9.5 vintage hockey or BGS 10 hockey cards, think that is also the Canada sheet cutting.
prolly
So you are going to bid on the card? If so that's great and I hope you win. This card came up for sale two years early. I'm retiring in two years and when I do I will buy a 76 Brett.
