1972 Lincoln memorial penny

Hello everyone, again. I apologize if my messages bother some of you. Now that I have this coin, I want your help. With my appreciation and respect to everyone, thank you. My question is, is this cent looks there is error with the coin rim. I need help please. Thans lot

    Looks like coin wrapping machine damage, so just pmd.

    Not from a wrapping machine. Most likely from a Misaligned Die Strike. The Anvil die (which the coin sits in) and the Hammer die (which strikes the coin) are slightly misaligned when the striking process occurs. The reverse strikes normally because it is held by the collar but the Obverse die strikes the coin slightly off center.

    Slightly misaligned but still within spec. Part of the design would have to
    run off of the edge to have any value.
