The day is finally here - a very rare opportunity to own a spectacular Blay Lincoln Cent in a pristine Regency holder.

********Up for auction on Great Collections is a rare opportunity to own an ex-Stewart Blay Lincoln Cent in a flawless green PCGS Regency Holder. I purchased this coin from GC, sent it to CAC and CMQ where it was awarded green stickers from both companies, ensuring the coin has maintained its brilliant red color for the 30 years it has been housed in the slab. (Note: in keeping with GC policy, the CMQ sticker has been professionally removed).

Here is the GC listing:

Here is a picture while adorned with both stickers:

Thanks for looking,

Tim

Great coin Tim! Best of luck with the auction. I saw your post in the “provenance” thread & wondered how the coin would do? Stewart’s auction on GC about a year ago brought some super bids; did you acquire this then? Imo, it will also do well this time around.

Hi and thanks for the post. Yes, I bought this Blay Regency from GC during the series of large auctions last year. After purchasing, I submitted it to CAC and CMQ where it was approved by both teams. This coin/holder is a bit of a unicorn in my collection so I have decided to try to find another home for it.

I think that would be a unicorn in any collection. Good luck with your sale.

Thanks @Copperindian! I am very happy with the results and the icing on the cake is knowing a fellow forum member was the winning bidder. It is a win/win scenario. Congrats to @knovak1976!
