2025 sovereigns

Just in case anyone is interested the Royal Mint will be releasing their 2025 sovereign range soon. A large variety of options will be available including a silver version. It’s been announced on their website and in various coin publications so I would imagine the release in the next few weeks.
It’s a beautiful coin with a highly anticipated release each year at this time.

Glad to see them return to yellow gold rather than rose gold in 2026.

I am also plus it will give the RM a chance to promote a “a return to yellow gold” sovereign next year.

Prices are available for certain items. For a 50% premium over the BU sovereign, I'll be looking for a boxed proof example.

I think we’re still a few weeks away. I have been buying sovereigns for a while and I always like a unique reverse to break up the chain of St Geo and the Dragon.

Anyone interested in the silver version? It doesn’t appeal to the purist sovereign buyers, but I may jump just because it’s a first.
