Hello All,
Purchased this coin yesterday and it is market fresh from an old collection.
Any insight or help as to grade please? I am quite new to gold!
Strike looks strong for a New Orleans minted piece, color is rich and vibrant, luster is bright and carthwheeling lustrous. Obverse shows some light sliding as if it was in a drawer at one point possibly in its life. Slide marks show more visibly on my 8K video than in hand and the overall severity of them varies in different lighting (less pronounced under incandescent, more pronounced in sunlight). Any Opinions on grade please would be appreciated!
