Sad that someone in Fenway HQ couldn't have reached out to Terry. He was a fan fave and did Boston well. Perhaps there is lingering bad blood, but boy, oh boy, wouldn't it have been sweet to have him back in Fenway!!!

A 3yr deal with a 4th yr option. No details on $$, but he would have been worth it. How do these Beanheads (pun intended) not know when a viable alternative to the corrupt Cora is out there. Surely they could have reached out. We're just stuck with bozo.

His retirement sure didn't last long!

It's comical that anyone puts much stock in a manager. The idea that these guys can intuit lineup magic is so naive it is not even funny.

The Reds were not bad because of their manager, they were bad because the cheapskate owner did not spend any money. 25th in payroll? A joke. 24th last year. 22nd the year before that. You have to go all the way back to 2021 to find a year they were in the top 50%.

Unless the Reds get serious about investing in the team, it doesn't matter what cheerleader they have running the team - the results will be the same - disappointing.

One has to hope his health holds up. For awhile he had some serious health issues that led to that retirement. Best of luck Terry.
