I’m back to work at the coin shop, I was here Saturday… Of course we’re not open on Saturdays anyway, but I was here to check on the place.
Of course it was fine, there was no power at that time, but I got this cool picture of the complex with my car… The only car in the entire parking lot!
But we’re back today. We have all service, cell phone, Internet, water & power. Everything is completely normal and no damage at all! Other than a kind of muddy parking lot as you’ll see in the picture.
I’m so glad to be back and I even had a call earlier, one of our regulars, asking if we had any pre-33!
He quickly apologized asking so quickly about coins given the situation with everything but I told him that I think it’s great, it made me feel like things were getting back to normal already!
We’ve already sold a few collector coins to some of our regulars that had a little extra cash, I’m just glad to be back! On here and at work. 👍

Yesterday was pretty cool at the shop, things are slowly getting back to normal at least for me personally, when I brought my typical Friday show and tell coins… It was fun to show them off and look at them myself, as I don’t see them often.
I typically look at them on those Fridays when I pull them out of storage and bring them in….
I had these with me yesterday:
And this, my first official purchase of 2024 and my all time favorite piece of copper:
Glad to hear you made it ok, it missed us here in southeast Florida but we got another one brewing that may turn into something this week. Have a generator on the way just in case, but my house is block and I have impact windows so its not as much of a concern for me.
