    No, just missing its ring on the outside. Its a 1989- 2.1 PCGS holder.

    Thanks. I didn’t realize it was possible for the outer shell/ring to detach.

    Yes . . .this is the Gen 2 of choice to cannibalize when fixing a Doily with a missing outer shell.

    I always thought of it as being a frame going around the outer periphery of the slab rather than it being an outer shell. In any case, it's unlikely that slab collectors will pay a premium for it without the frame.
