Contemporary counterfeit. If I was @ home I could compare it to "Bad Metal" for an ID.
Giveaway is that the shield is uneven and the lines aren't straight.

Unauthorized Confederate issue?
How much is it worth?
Actually a fairly common contemporary counterfeit.
Is that bad tool marks as well? 🤨
How much is it worth?
Interesting, with a rim-to-rim die crack.
I agree.
What sets it apart just a little is the condition.
Many of these are slightly damaged or cleaned.
This one looks original.
I don't know the exact value- the prices are all over the board.
I paid $145.00 (all in) for the one I showed above.
Here is one that is holed I think the owner is asking too much:

Thank you.
Here is an interesting article whereas one of these contemporary counterfeits was authenticated and slabbed by PCGS.
The kicker is, it was also stickered by CAC:

Looks like "cast" surfaces.

I have a secret collection of these, but do not have your particular CC.

The OP is die struck.
As already stated, die struck contemporary fake. Looks cool though. Love the various die issues.
