The only thing you need to know about stacking metals is, if you got a 1965 rosie in change you would spend it. If you got a 1964 Rosie in change you would save it.

Trivia bit:
It wasn't until 1967 that the silver value of US 90% coin exceeded the face value.
But that didn't dissuade people from hoarding silver coins prior to 1967.

If you get a rare (error) 1965 SILVER dime in change, you should keep it
It still blows my mind that a 90% silver half now contains $11.57 worth of silver. And undoubtedly, it's going higher.
I knew it would happen.
