This is the third scarcest chopped trade dollar (only 11 straight graded examples exist). Attractive surfaces with several multi-character chops. The details is 'Filed Rims' but they look an awful lot like test cuts to me.

XF40 CPG is $2500, VF20 CPG is $1500. Concurrently listed on eBay for $1649. $1200 shipped.

    I'll bump you back

I disagree with this member's opinion. IMO, the two images here are NOT TEST CUTS at all. They are more likely a punch mark and a lamination (note the edge is not affected). The rim of this coin also shows very obvious deep horizontal file marks along the rim as noted by the professional graders at PCGS.

    A few items of note.

    1. This is the BST, not US Coins. Opining on other members' coins, unless grossly misrepresented or a scam, is a an enormous breach of etiquette.
    2. The coin sold 6 months ago.
    3. Did you see the coin in hand? You don't know what the rims look like.
