The Scotsman Auction of November 1, 2024 is online. The auction is not yet open for bidding, but you can look at the lots. There are 901 lots of ancient coins, world coins, U.S coins and paper money. The auction is held in conjunction with the Coin X show. The auction is one of the few that still has floor bidding. I have attended the auction several times and have enjoyed it. I have no lots in the sale and have no connection to the auction just thought that you might want to take a look.

The $5000 bill is sooooo desirable. It's on my bucket list.
Pay special attention to "Scotsman Cataloger's Award" items!

I just paid near $12k for the one on the right. I definitely meant “buy” 💪🏼
Thanks for playing but I won’t be beat in the rattler game. Might as well help me save a few dollars and don’t bid it up too high 🤣🤣.
I can fully relate!

Scotsman Coins is an excellent company, in my experience. They have been strong buyers for years.

Didn't know real catalogs were even possible in this era.
That is one thing that I like about this company.
Done business with them since 2006 ..honest, detailed descriptions, of auction items
I collect Morgan O dollars ,, seems the quality is much better than other Mints ..with clean face ,& fields,, Great luster,, Any particular reasons ?
What is the minimum amount to sell?
I do not believe there is a minimum.

How do we tell who won? Can’t follow live like HA
Looks like after live bidding started I could no longer bid. It says I have been outbid by $25 but when I click to bid it wants me to log in and around the loop goes. I click into my history and it just says outbid with no further options.
The website is below average for sure and looks like the auction is over even though there’s no confirmation of such.
At least I didn’t love the coin.
As far as I know it was not live bidding online, only floor bidding
When I won a coin with them I had Andy on the phone do live bidding for me,
