Clean or no clean?

The stain on the elephants face really bugs me. But would trying to clean it just make it worse?

If you do elect to clean, do trust to the professionals.

The staining around the elephant's face and over on the right side tells me that there was some serious corrosion happening there, horn silver or some such, which has already been mostly cleaned off to the best of someone's ability. I wouldn't be sure anyone else could do a better job.

Don’t clean it. Send it to me and buy a better one. 😬

I suspect there may have been a previous effort to conserve. If the look bothers you, sell it and buy another that meets your expectations.

I see some green areas I would do an acetone bath. That will not harm your coin at all.
