Surprised he opted for a BGS. PSA is the recognized market leader.
This is a bit deflating. Maybe BGS grips better.
Seems once you get into the 6+ figure range SGC and BGS reining in top dollar is more common than 3-4 figure cards where non PSA sometimes a detriment. Now that PSA's parent firm owns SGC they are likley fine with top prices going there.
Are the folks who buy at that 6+ figure level looking at the card closely and like what they see, or are they simply buy the number on the flip card folks - my guess is the latter.
