1971 OPC baseball - 5th series vs 6th

I've been collecting this set for about 2 years now and I'm wondering if others have had the same experience I have with it.
It's very well known that the OPCs were printed in significantly less quantities than Topps. I am having a much harder time with the 5th series than the 6th. Even though series 5 has around 10 more cards than series 6, I have so far acquired only 22 of the 5th series cards vs 57 of the 6th series.
Anyone else have this similar experience? I did not observe this when building the '71 Topps set.

I’m about 150 cards short on my set, all above 523. I’ll have to look at the uncut sheets I’ve saved but I think the 1971 OPC’s were printed (and issued) on 3 different sheets. Early Wax packs def. Contained cards 1 thru 263

    Sheet 1 cards 1-263
    Sheet 2 cards 264-523
Sheet 3 cards 524 and up

Edit: after rewatching a bunch of wax packs being opened on YouTube, series 3 packs only contained cards 264 to 39x

Looking up the OPC checklists on Ebay:
    1st series 1-132
    2nd series 133-263
    3rd series 264-393
    4th series 394-523
    5th series 524-643
    6th series 644-752

Series 1 and 2 cards were def. printed and issued at the same time, see below half sheets. The series 4 and 5 sheets I have copies of only show the respective cards from those series, John

PS note the Ron Hunt card in upper right corner on the 2nd pic, replaces the coin CL. Also has an expo player in row 6 column 2 instead of the playoff card issued in the Topps set.

John - You are a wealth of information when it comes to this era. Uncut sheets are always a great source.
It's been fun so far trying to collect this set. Interesting that there is an Expos premium, similar to the Yankees premium on Topps sets that I experienced when I was a New Yorker and that sort of exists sometimes outside of NY.

Love the vintage 1976 Topps paperweights.
