They come to me …. But they’re never cheap.
But isn’t that where the rich people drop their double eagles??
Nothing is as expensive as free money.
Stare at Ebay for at least a few hours a day, you'll start finding things.

You can find some nice deals on Ebay, but you really have to know what you are doing as there is also a buch of way over priced items.
Try coin roll hunting. Boxes of coin rolls can be ordered from a bank at face value, checked for coins worth more than face value, and the rest returned. A good place to start learning what is worth more than face value is by looking at the coin roll hunting thread.

Your bank can usually help you out.

Yes. It’s like finding a bargain for anything.
Finds here are 100%profit.
Are you asking how to determine the value of inexpensive coins?
If so, the Redbook will give you a ballpark retail value.
Isn't that like asking a fisherman where his favorite fishing places are located?

And then they will be posted here to see if they are valuable errors.

It's like a giant flea market, you have to wade through a lot of crap to find the gems.
Depends on how much you value your time and effort.

You can find cheap coins such as wheat pennies, low end Liberty and Buffalo nickels, cull type coins, etc. at most coin shops. Think of those coins as starter pieces. They will never be worth much but they can set the table for you. If the bug bites you then take it another step higher. Finding undervalued coins is another story. Start off with a Redbook and go from there. You may find a series that you really like. Educate yourself. You will need very good reference books to collect certain series such as bust or colonial coins. You will be amazed what you find if you take a particular series seriously. Find yourself a mentor if you can. When I was a teenager my local dealer lent me a wonderful book. I read certain chapters countless times. It was the book that sent me on my way. Be careful with slabbed material. Always buy the coin and not the holder. Same with raw coins. Finally, but something that you really, really like.
These work better than parking lots

If it's coin roll hunting, then no. I would not hesitate to recommend coin roll hunting to a stranger online because of how unlikely it is that they live close enough to me to be a potential competitor.

The only caveat to that is you have to know what to look for. A majority of the good deals on eBay are cherry picks, which require close scrutiny and sometimes even researching diagnostics.

Wait until noone is looking though...!
Do you mean "find the value of cheap coins" or "find coins selling for near their actual value?"
1. "value of cheap coins"
a. https://www.coinstudy.com/ and look at the Good to Fine prices
b. Look at numismedia fair price for collectors and multiply by 70% or so
c. Look at PCGS or NGC prices and multiply by 70% or so
2. "cheap coins near their actual value"
a. Coinstar
b. Dealer bargain boxes
c. Ebay auction that did not get enough attention
eBay auctions that the seller forgot to add the word "silver" in the title.

If your talking coins under $10 have them and at shows they have their own demand structure and do well. However YMMV.
That's what buying coins is all about anyway, correct? Blindly paying good money with no research invested is not recommended for anyone. Learning varieties, expanding knowledge across all series, and grading from photos are all fantastic skills to learn for any coin collector or dealer.

Correct. I didn't want the OP to think that all it took to find deals was time.
