Any other input other than not much over face? Mite be just as easy to take them to a bank. In this case bulk could be 8 $50 bags. No idea about how they are stored.

YES. Somehow neglected to put that in the title.

At 4 to 5 cents each, they are worth taking to a buyer.

You can lug them to a bank for face, or lug them to a coin dealer for 4 or 5 times face. 🤔

The cost of gas probably isn’t worth the trip. Too much labor picking them up. :). Give handfuls to kids “trick or treating”, this year. You might inspire the next generation of collectors.

If eight $50 bags of wheat cents:

    Face value = $400.
Wholesale value (at $220 per bag) = $1760.

    Premium over face = $1360.
Appears to be worth a bit of time and effort.

$220 for $50 face is way over face. It's also about as high as it's ever been except for a brief time last year when it was $240 or $250.

220/260 is Upstate buy/ sell. Other large operations should be similar. A local BM might try $150 or $180 to ship them. But still over face.

Seems like a fun search if the price is right.
