PLease School Me on Rolls of Unopened 1964 Kennedy Halves....

I'm not very knowledgeable on coins, but I inherited a couple dozen rolls fo 1964 Kennedy Halves.
I know they are kind of significant due to the silver content, and I have seen a couple videos detailing things like patina and double strikes giving more value....
Assuming the rolls need to be opened and gone through to assess value. How would a novice like myself approach such a task, with an eye toward assessing honest value???
Thanks-

Do you know how to post pictures here yet?

Not yet. I'm new here.....
Gonna be a few days before I have time to do that.
If the coins on the end of the rolls don't display any patina (toning), it is unlikely that the others will. As for varieties, my guess would be that whatever you see on the end of the rolls (if both obverse and reverse are visible) is probably representative of the entire roll.

It looks like this, only not as long.
PS no one is going to pay you full silver value for them

They are not like the roll above. They are tight and professional looking. Looks like a machine stamped them tight enough to roll the ends inward tightly. The paper is very thick. Like cardboard.
@Manifest_Destiny - How did you know that?

Here is a pic:
Some have wrappers like this, but others are white and very thick paper

You’re looking for cartwheel Luster on coins that are not banged up.
Using a somewhat bright light observe the coin while tilting and rotating. The hits will illuminate. The more the hits the worse the grade.
Absolutely do not clean or touch the surface of the coins.
Some are.
anyone buying them will want to open them
I guess we'll wait for better pictures. Show both ends of all the rolls.

I just want to see good pictures of the rolls and all the ends. We'll be able to tell what's inside.

The ender you posted has pretty toning!
That coin looks like a modern Kennedy to me.

It looks like a 1964 to me.

They are easy to sell on the Precious Metals Forum, right here.
If you put them up on ebay they will sell there too but ebay takes 13%.
So, just price them at a discount to the ebay sales for rolls and they will likely sell on the Forum.
Just a thought.

$225/roll seems to be the going ebay price.
Weigh them. Should weigh around 250 grams if 90% silver. If less, they may be mixed and require opening.

Salient advice from both @AUandAG & @jesbbroken. I can only add if you decide to sell them in bulk, a $200/roll price point should get it done.
