1970 KELLOGG'S SONNY JURGENSEN #53 VARIATION

I have been collecting these 1970 Kellogg's cards for many years and I never heard of or noticed the variation. The difference is one has the sun shining in his face. I have 2 shining in his face and one not. I looked on line and could not find any info listed but I did see many pics and more had no shining on the face. Has anyone seen or heard anything on this. Just curious if maybe one has more value than the other.

I wish that you would've posted your question a few months ago...

just unloaded quite a bit of 70's Kellogg's...🥣🏈

I might have some pic's on what I previously listed...I gotta look.. might still have those pics...I might...

  • Great catch. I checked mine and it has the sun in his face. It's not a recognized variation that I can find either. Don't believe one is more valued than the other. Maybe I'll pick up a graded no sun in the face Jurgensen in case it ever does get recognized as a variation. ;)

I was browsing the the 1970 Kellogg's FB set registry and someone had mentioned it in their registry with the photos.
