Is this damage or an error?

I found this the other day and couldn’t find anything like it online and just wanted to know more about it and what could make water looking indents in a coin. I’m just curious about it

Damage or maybe some residue on it. It's worth 25c.

  • It's damage the coin got after minting. Probably was pressed into something firmly.

The way mint errors work is there are a number of common errors, and you have to identify what caused the error. If you can't say "This is specifically that error" then its just damage.

The substantial truth doctrine is an important defense in defamation law that allows individuals to avoid liability if the gist of their statement was true.
