Do you think it's cleaned or are the pictures just making it look cleaned?

Looks like an old dip and retoning to me.

    +1

  • Strong XF details. Check out those stars.
Nice coin and a forgivable cleaning for an album coin.

Tough date in higher grade levels like this.

If it straight grades ~AU50, you got yourself a heckuva coin there. And if it Details, it’s still a strong album coin.

Yes, my thoughts as well. I will submit to hosts at the next Baltimore show and post results. I think it is dipped with retone - no gross hairlines and much detail without significant wear - iPhone 11S doe not seem to picture silver well. Hope it will not details grade but will see on that.
BTW, the stars are very well articulated.

That is a full AU coin and if there aren't hairlines (hairlines from cleaning, not hairlines from circulation) then it will straight grade, as well.

The photos look like it hasn’t been cleaned, just dipped and Retoned. I think it has a good shot of straight grading. It’s a strong 50.

Sometimes, it’s better to be LUCKY than good. 🍀 🍺👍
