Best Way to Label Blank Album Ports?

If you have a blank Whitman/Dansco album, what's a good way to label the blank ports? I don't like label makers, I would prefer some type of transfer or printing that is as close as possible to their labeled albums. I know Whitman makes transfer sheets but the problem with those is that you are transferring them one digit at a time, which is impossible to line up.
How are you guys doing it?

One of those Brother label machines using a skinny black on clear tape might work. Just a thought

Whitman does have transfer sheets with the whole date so might not have to do one number at a time. I don’t know of a better option. I typically leave them blank myself. Here’s some examples on eBay of the transfer sheets with the whole date

You could potentially fabricate your own stamp, maybe by disassembling a sticker pricing gun and realigning the number punches.
I haven't tried this method out myself but it may be worth a shot

An old-fashioned date stamp could be used - you would need to mask off the unwanted digits (not just depend on the blank value) and keep it very very clean.
I've used these people for custom "Where's George" stamps, they probably could customize a date stamp to add a mintmark

For some of my pages I found some cardstock close to Danscos color and print it using a template I made on excel.
