I bought this raw at a local show a while ago.
I had my Morgan book out of the safe so I figured I would post it on the board.
I was really surprised when I saw it in the dealers case raw.
It's original and problem free.
I haven't posted my own thread in a while so I wanted to share this coin.
If you have a 1921 PL I would really like to see it.

PL is scarce in this date. Looks like it may grade as such.
That’s a very nice looking coin with superior contrast.

As a very addicted 1921-P collector, I can tell you -- and with great envy -- that is a wonderful looking PL!!
Thank you @MFeld .
A compliment from you means alot.
Definetly PL in my opinion.
What I really like is the strike. Seldom seen is the full hair above the ear. This must have been a newer die because this 1921 is fully detailed.

The only time I’d ever consider buying a ‘21 is if it’s PL, very nice coin!

Why would this beautiful 1921 be considered only PL vs Proof?
Different minting process for proofs. That coin is not a proof (you can tell by looking at it) but a business strike coin that may display “prooflike” reflective fields. PCGS designates these coins as PL. There’s plenty of articles that detail the differences b/t proof and business struck coins.
It looks nice, 63/64 but it's hard to tell with the photography. I have really improve my photography setup and I did these tonight, coincidentally, as I posted them for sale.
Oh, and this one that was rejected for PL...
I just tool some quick phone images.

That sure looks PL to me. Nice contrast anyway.

Looks like a good amount of frost in the fields of that 65. I bet that coin has some nice cartwheels, but not enough depth for PL, but tough to tell from a pic. Certainly it’s one of the nicer 21’s, congrats on the pickup
No longer mine, does someone here own it now?
Impressive and wow!
