I got to say, it was exciting!
Pedestrian Morgan in 65 NGC plastic. $124 seemed cheap.
Maybe I will start getting the Intelligent Collector print edition again.

I may send it to Virginia Beach so that CDN can rub their chin over the price and then send it to Virginia Beach so that CACG can consider a crossover and then send it to Virginia Beach so that DLRC can auction it.
Congrats. Always fun to get a new coin for the collection.
How do you feel about the fingerprints?

If they belonged to Jesse James, coin will soar in value!
In the grand scheme of things, it was cheap. When PCGS and NGC first began operations in the mid to late 1980’s, gray sheet bid on MS65 Morgans was over $700.
They wouldn’t bother me too much on that coin.

I really don't think that's the price with which to compare.
That would depend on whether you are considering this particular Morgan dollar as cheap relative to other similar coins available today, or whether any MS65 Morgan dollar is cheap today at $124 vs historical values since TPG began slabbing.
It’s cheap by both regards or standards!

Roll of BU Morgans are probably $1000 now. Had the 165 year old man put away 20 of these in the 1880's, he would have a substantial paper gain but in reality, a significant inflation adjusted loss.
I've spent just over 10K with them so far this year and haven't seen a copy of Intelligent Collector in a few years. Nothing I've missed to be honest. Do they still print it?
Maybe not, I guess. Receive the digital version. Never opened it.
Not if they were 1889-CCs.
