Today I received the new 2024 Mint sets from the Mint. While going through them I stumbled upon this Kennedy. He has an interesting strike thru of something on his jaw. Any ideas? I don't think its damage but I'm no expert. What say you?

Small bit of grease on the die.
It’s pretty deep into the coin. Very noticeable in hand. Looks like a divot! I did not think grease could do that but I defer to your knowledge.
Liquid can only compress so much, different liquids different amounts of compression all the way to not at all. That is the foundation of hydraulics or Pascal's law which is at play here.
11.5$ Southern Dollars, The little “Big Easy” set
This is common die grease strike through. IMO it ruins the coin.
Yea, it's not dramatic enough to be marketable, but as long as there needs to be lubricant there will be strike-throughs
that one is dramatic to me but the higher powers here don't acknowledge it
Is this your dollar?

not mine, but there's a ton like it which ensures the strike-through has no premium
What does the slab say?

they did have room for "s-t" because it is a missing edge lettering coin, plus for the presidentials they need to fit the name on there
