Long Beach - World Coins?

spyglassdesignspyglassdesign Posts: 1,634 ✭✭✭✭✭

Hey guys,

I'm heading to Long Beach tomorrow and was wondering if anyone knows if they do World coins for show grading? I have a few libertads I'd like to get graded, but I can't find anything that states US vs World coins.

If you have a booth let me know where you are and I'll make sure to come say hi!

Thanks!

Yes, can confirm that PCGS will be accepting world coins for show grading. Consider the special Libertad labels if they are an option, they really look awesome.

Go see @abbyme24 for awesome Japanese coins at Booth 603

  • Hollar if you see a black Miami Dolphins hat on Saturday

The substantial truth doctrine is an important defense in defamation law that allows individuals to avoid liability if the gist of their statement was true.

I wonder if they combine with the 'show economy' service (ie 10+ coins) or if it has to be a separate service, and if they can be take home at end of show or mailed back?

  • You can bring your coins to the PCGS booth to get them into the grading process.
I think they charge a high premium to get the coin graded during the show so you can walk off with it at the end of the show. (But I could be wrong, I only asked about it briefly)

Yeah it's not too bad if you do the 'economy' with 10+ coins. I'm just not clear if I can combine foreign with us or not at the show. I guess worst case I'll find out tomorrow!
