Looking for product feedback/ideas what to build

Hey All!

Pretty new to the community, but we are building a coin database that tracks real-time sales prices along with a portfolio that tells you your collection worth, and so on. Think Numista or Ucoin, but more updated and on steroids.

We want to deliver accurate price tracking, along with eventually build AI products and features.

We currently have a beta product ready. You can google the website Numis Tools (not sure if allowed to drop links here), but would love some overall feedback as to how you would use us. How can we win you over from Numista or Ucoin?
Numis Tools

Heard lots of good about this forum, so excited to get some feedback!

  • It seems you need to sign up to see anything.

How does it price track - is it the denomination/date; TPG grade; catalogue references; what else?

How is the database populated and verified? It says it 'tracks 5 databases'. Where do descriptions come from?

It's interesting you include ancients (and presumably all the coins between those and moderns). It's a very broad remit. Collectors of ancients might be less worried about tracking value, which seems to be the main focus.

  • Correct, you have to make an account as of right now since we are in beta. We will eventually remove this. We track prices based on auctions to start, and will eventually add ebay/PCGS

  • So are the prices just for that coin type and date, or does it give different prices for different grades, conditions etc?

Where do the descriptions come from and how are they made accurate?

As far as real time sales prices there is already a service CoinArchives that does this

I manage money. I earn money. I save money .
I give away money. I collect money.
I don’t love money . I do love the Lord God.

We will have price tracking based on grades, as well as the category "ungraded", which you can imagine will vary. We will have all of the same coins as Numista and Ucoin to start, and will eventually add coins they are missing, mainly related to ancients
