Silver Dime was looking and appears to have a D mint mark punched on the bottom of the torch to the right of the actual D mint mark. Posted a pick if you guys can let me know if it’s an error or just somthing that occurred after it left the mint.

    Welcome to the forum.

Compare the shape and size of the area you asked about to the actual D mint mark - they bare very little resemblance to one another.

Welcome to the forum. Great attitude. Congrats and be careful with pareidolia, it can make you see what you want to see and not what is there. Good luck collecting.

That's a good example of reading between the lines.
    reading too much into it.
    Taking it the wrong way.

Welcome, hopefully you will figure out you're time is better spent on collecting instead of error searching.
