Silver Dime was looking and appears to have a D mint mark punched on the bottom of the torch to the right of the actual D mint mark. Posted a pick if you guys can let me know if it’s an error or just somthing that occurred after it left the mint.

It’s damage – look at the roughness of the entire reverse – lots of contact marks, etc.

Welcome to the forum.
Compare the shape and size of the area you asked about to the actual D mint mark - they bare very little resemblance to one another.

The welcoming committee has given their thumbs up. You can stay. And you even got an answer to your question because it was asked perfectly.
Welcome to the forum. Great attitude. Congrats and be careful with pareidolia, it can make you see what you want to see and not what is there. Good luck collecting.
