Red BU 1922 "No D" cent for $500, and if you put it on your watchlist you get an immediate offer of $300. Do you think he knows that it is no good?

AI will say it's real.
Ebay was less corrupted when it cost a couple bucks to list an item.
"...its authenticity can be verified by its year of mintage and the color of its rim."
I learn something new every day. lol
The 2 fake silver eagles from the other recent thread that I reported, eBay’s AI just now says they’re good to go.
From the recent string of dozens of questionable authenticity coins on eBay, I’m glad to know AI thinks everything is on the up & up. It’s actually become extremely difficult to get auctions pulled since AI stepped into the mix.
Wasn’t there talk here of pcgs using computers/AI to start grading coins? Everything will make its way into a holder if that comes to be.
I get the same message from them saying "there's nothing wrong here"

I reported it at 7:25 MDT. At 8 I got the notice from eBarf that they found nothing wrong with it. At 9:30 I got a message from the seller offering a reduction from $300 (originally $500) down to $100. Eventually it disappeared.
I’ve been looking at Peace dollars on eBay recently, and there are lots of obvious fakes. I’ve tried reporting them, but none ever get taken down. I get the AI rejects, and also the “customer service agent” rejects.
Here’s an example (first result when searching for a 1927-S Peace Dollar)

The Chinese counterfeits are like a game of whack-a-mole. There's no way eBay doesn't know what is going on. You click on one fake coin and then your "sponsored" related items are full of them. The best we can do, if we don't want to waste our time, is focus on the high value/less obvious counterfeits.

WOW
EBay has designed ways for the Fraudsters to get away with selling fake coins now. So long as the listing is technically OK, one can seller plastic coins, rubber coins, and whatever coin you wish for ripping people off.
Once again eBotch rejected my original report, but enough of you must have also reported it and it went "BUH-BYE!"
