NRA medal doubled die?

This medal was in a group of coins I picked up. I have no idea on value (it has to be at least a BUCk, get the joke?)
Anyway, check out the strong doubling on the rev. I’ve never seen this before. Is it common?

    That is very cool and I am sure many variety collectors, myself included, would love to own an example. It is not something I have seen before, though I highly doubt doubling that prominent has gone completely unnoticed.

    A quick look at eBay did not turn up any other examples, though there are many listed there without the doubling.
