Trying to complete a set of these wonderfully designed coins, but with color. Though there are no major rarities, it's still a change to find them attractively toned. I'm halfway there with 12 out of the 24 spots filled. When completed, I hope to enter this set for the annual PCGS set awards. :)

And here's a coin from that set:

Looks like a great start to the set! A wonderful design on that series. Your 1964 is my favorite. Are the later dates tougher because they aren't worth as much so less are slabbed?

Great progress so far. I think this is a great set to do.

I find that these bronze/brass alloys with slightly less copper tend to tone more readily in interesting ways.

I think there is something to that, there is less to choose from. I've seen a handful of 66 and 67 RB pieces for the later dates, but they don't have enough color for me.

I admire the effort and the intent of the goal. My 20 C coins that were submitted are simply not of the color that I suspect you are seeking. Great project and it is something that can be done.

I am fond of colors like that. Once worked with a batch of Switzerland, France, and Canada coppers that looked like that. Good luck on the pursuit!
