Crossing any + coin to CACG+ appears to be very difficult. Does anyone want to share their experiences in attempting to cross a NGC+ to a PCGS+

I've never tried an NGC+ cross to PCGS. But I did successfully cross a proof 1939 dime graded 67+ by NGC to the same grade at CACG. And it didn't even have a sticker.
I’m 1/1. NGC PR 67+ 38 10c. Legacy. Haven’t tried any PCGS.
I was fortunate enough to cross a CBH from NGC 58* to PCGS 58+, albeit it took a few tries.

Nice and original look to that one.

Don’t like the 39 dime at all - ugly tarnish.
Thanks! I keep buying other proof dimes trying to complete the set, but I’m never quite happy with them because so far they all pale in comparison to this one.
It doesn’t really show in the pics, but all the toning has rainbows. That spot behind Liberty’s head, for instance, has an emerald center with a magenta halo.
Yes - that’s a great sign of original cellophane toning. They can be quite attractive if one takes the time to choose wisely!

Great success! Beautiful coin.
I just crossed an old NGC AU55 (1996) to CACG AU55. Considering trying for the PCGS 58 upgrade.
The trick would be to then get a CAC on the PCGS AU58. It's possible the market may value a PCGS AU58 less than a CACG AU55
That’s a very nice 55.
That's because it's a 58
Is RickO back from the dead? LOL! Miss the comments from that guy!
So are you saying this CAC trueview picture is totally off base and is similar to the pcgs pictures as of late? I see splotches of terminal toning all over this coin, and you say this is the absolute best you’ve ever seen? What am I missing?
If CAC doesn’t know how to take a photograph, that is important information to know if I buy a coin using their pictures only. I have not studied enough of their coins in holders yet compared to their pictures to get a feel of their competence.

No, I’m not saying CAC doesn’t know how to take pictures. Their pic is pretty accurate to how the coin presents in ambient lighting. With lower angled lighting (think TrueView glamor shot) the rainbows would jump to life.
There’s no terminal toning anywhere on this dime. There’s a bit of shadow under the top of the rim that makes the toning in that area appear darker than it is.
