If you have Directv and can decipher the value (or not) of the sports package on Directv, I'd appreciate the crayon version. I have the Entertainment level for tv, and the MLB extra innings package. I'm interested in a college football package, and maybe a combo college/pro package. Can they be purchased separately or only as a bundle. With the MLB wrapping up, and my team most likely out of contention, its time to plan ahead.
Tks.

The sports package, from best as I can remember, gives you the regional sports networks out of your local area. However, any professionally televised games will not be available to you - they will be blacked out - and require the professional broadcast bundle (MLB extra innings, NFL Sunday Ticket, etc.).
Local pro games are usually available (again, unless blacked out because it's being broadcast on a national network), but utilizing the sports pack to get around the expensive bundles doesn't work.
I do not have time for ignorant trolls.

directTv was great until about 2003
cant you stream these packages over the internet somehow?
Oddly, Directv comped me the NFL package 2 years ago. I have no clue why, but I enjoy the freebie.
I"ll hope for great college offerings this season. Tks
