Still the only D1 player to score 100 points in a game. Still holds the second highest season scoring average(41.7 ppg) second only to Pete Maravich(44.1 ppg). 3 time consensus all-american, UPI POY. Number 1 pick in the NBA draft, 2 time NBA all-star, the other starting guard alongside Jerry West for the Lakers.

    Frank is a collegiate legend and great guy. He was still doing TTM a couple months ago.

    He played at Furman. At the time he played Furman was in the old Southern Conference which included schools like Duke, UNC, Clemson etc. He played in the mid 50’s and also led the nation in scoring 2 years in a row and after his senior year another Furman player Darrell Floyd led the nation in scoring. Furman’s record during Selvy’s playing days was 59-21.
