@davewesen Thats exactly what I’m looking for. Do the initials have to be 100% missing? I can clearly see striations from polishing so is this an early vs later state of the polishing and where does PCGS draw the line…
I believe not. The following photos are 6 coins PCGS did grade as such and yours still shows a lot of the G. I looked at many and saw very little, if any, with portions of the FG. JMO

I have similar issues with a 1966 SMS No FG I cherry picked that has the remnants of a faint G in which everyone says PCGS will not grade as such. While the below PCGS graded 1966 SMS No FG pictures are not my coin, my coin has the same exact faint G.

I think you would be wasting your money, the G is quite visible, and a faint outline of the F is also there.
