I agree that prices on some seem pretty darn good. I blame it on inflaton. Some of the seniors I have talked to are really struggling to meet expenses with the price of everything so high.
It's a tough time for them and many are selling off collections due to this "rainy day" comes.
I live in a senior community of 7,000+ homes and hear their complaints in almost every conversation. Hope it gets under control.

Only change can bring what is out of control under control.

@howep I'm glad you are finding "bargains", however, what is a bargain for one may be moon money for another, without any context of what you paid it is hard to see your point as I have not been finding anything priced below moon money that I want to buy.

So you are finding cheaper coins because things cost more. Interesting. James

He's saying that people are selling coins or avoiding discretionary purchases because the things they need cost more. It's actually not an uncommon market reaction to inflation, although I'm not sure I've actually seen much evidence of it yet.

I don't argue with people on the internet, but also don't believe everything I read. coin market has been hot if not over heated for several years. Why are they getting ripped off when they sell? Inflation has gone DOWN 11 straight months? Where do they live? too many holes in that statement.
Sounds just like my farm friend who spent an hour telling me how he just doesn't know how he can make it. AFTER telling me he bought a new Ford f 250 pickup with cash. bought a new quad Tractor, and just signed a lease to rent an additional 1,100 acres next year. I mean if your losing a fortune on the first 6,000 shouldn't you rent more?

Many seniors I know (and plenty of other people too) seem to enjoy complaining, even if something doesn't affect them. Particularly regarding money. This isn't new...we've all heard "Back in my day XXX used to only cost $X!.

I think a great many people, including your farm friend, would fit in that demographic.

I don’t see where anyone said anything about people “getting ripped off when they sell”. And what holes in what statement are you talking about?

It always amuses me (at least a bit) how often individuals say that they or their communities are doing OK/fine while it’s clearly going to hell everyplace else…
