Summer ANA Show Report
It was a quick trip to the WFoM, in for all day Tuesday and most of Wednesday and now heading back home.
The hall was massive, well organized, and had a wide range of dealers. There was a covered and air conditioned walkway from both the Hyatt and the parking garage. Attendance seemed good but not great.
There was basically nothing for me to buy as my current want list is fairly esoteric. I submitted some trade dollars for PCGS take home grading and a half box of (mostly) trade dollars to CAC for sticker review. Did a little lot viewing but I don't have any major targets for the upcoming auctions so it was a bit anticlimactic.
I picked up a beautifully colored 45-D $5 which I purchased last month from Noah at Rarity 7. I also got a lovely upgrade for my Japanese Koban set from @abbyme24
I also got a permanent addition to my set, a business card from @MrEureka
I'm confident @DeplorableDan will have an excellent report as he was a whirling dervish of ultra PQ coins being bought and sold.
Overall, a fantastic time with friends and coins as hoped. Anyone who has not been to a WFoM should do whatever they can to attend.

Thanks for your report and nice coins.
Nice report! And it's definitely worth attending at least one big show for those that can (especially if it is close by).
Great report. Oh, and that 1845-D is beyond AWESOME.

It was great meeting you in person and glad we could make a deal on the Koban!
Thanks for showing me around and helping me navigate my first major show. It was a blast!
Congrats on your new pieces. Whenever I see these show reports with pics, I get so envious. Attending a major show is nirvana for me!

Nice new gold additions and thanks for the report!
Thank you for the show report. Nice additions.
Here's a coin show WISH!
I wish dealers who have websites would make some way to monitor emails while absent from store.
Especially orders either new or pending,
Or.... note in website that the show will affect orders or messages.
I can't speak for all but I was hanging out with a dealer friend of mine...he was monitoring his website realtime, removing inventory as necessary, and making USPS runs daily to ship out. But one needs to be organized and mildly tech savvy to do that. Some people are better than others with those skills.

Thanks for the report and nice pickups @lermish! Hope to catch you in LB next month.
I would love that but I won't be at the next LB. It's fairly slow and I'll be going to the USMEX show in October. My wife is extremely tolerant but even she has her limits😅

Thanks for your report.
If I had a budget for gold coins, that 1845-D is exactly the type of coin I'd buy. Nice choice.
