1998 Bahamas Independence gold proof

Hey everyone!

I was looking through my dad's coin collection and found that he has a 1998 Bahamas 25 year $250 gold proof. The Issue Limit was 250 and it comes with a certificate of authenticity. I can't seem to find out much about the value of this coin online and was hoping someone here would be able to help me find out more about it

    These typically sell for close to melt.

    Yes, mintage is low. But demand is even lower. Bahamas has so much NCLT.

    The early stuff is Franklin Mint. This one appears to be Royal Mint (UK).
