I think I made a mistake.

Yes, odd as it may seem to those who know me, I am NOT infallible.
I put my coins in a "tray box.
Was happy with the layout. For a while. Then I realized that I was overwhelming my eyes with too many coins to appreciate them individually.
So they're back in slab boxes again.
And I can now look at them one at a time.

Beautiful early Dollar!
I had some fun with a dremel this weekend trying to modify a PCGS box to fit the extra thick slabs. It did not go well; melted plastic everywhere and the end result is an ugly mess. But it works!

I use Lighthouse wood boxes for slabs. I lay out the trays of 8 or 6 and enjoy/prefer seeing similar sets together. I use the larger boxes such as the one shown for medals, which are raw. Not as much satisfaction as albums and plastic holders, but close.

I keep some of my coins in generic slabs
