Whenever I see these for about $15.00 in problem free condition I will buy it. I have about 30+ of these on a Dansco cent page and will continue to purchase these when I stumble upon them, such as this example (arrived today):

    https://www.ebay.com/itm/196521940564

As a two-year type coin I think they are slightly underrated.

    (Edited to fix the link.)

These three that i have are from my LCS and one of them is supposedly a "brothel cent", the veracity of which has never been determined.

    1857

    1858

    Brothel cent????

Hopefully the above picture is not against the forum rules and if it is so, will gladly delete it if someone notifies me.

** Edited to add link. o:)

Doesn't offend me because I just see it as art ( the coin).
I would think it was done much later than the word "Brothel" was used. Now they probably just call it "The Red Roof Inn". :D
